Hello Herrick Families,
The following are this week's updates & reminders:
1) Los Angeles Unified teams from across the District have been planning and preparing for the upcoming inclement weather system. Schools are equipped with emergency preparedness plans should campuses experience leaks, flooding or wind damage. The District is also prepared with alternate plans for impacted areas. We will be in direct contact with families if schools are affected, and the Los Angeles Unified parent hotline at 213.443.1300 is available for families who may have questions or need additional support.
2) A reminder that Monday is President's Day and school will be closed. School resumes on Tuesday,
February 20.
3) Wednesday we have a Volunteer Orientation via zoom that will be facilitated by our Community Representative, Sarah Chavez.
