Hello Herrick Families,
My name is Mr. Dorado and I am the Principal of Herrick Avenue. I hope all of enjoyed your summer break. I am reaching out to provide you with important information about the first day of school.
A) Our first day of school is Monday, August 12th.
B) The first day of school will be a Minimum Day and school will be out at 12:19 p.m.
C) All families should have received a "Welcome Back to School Letter" by US postal mail. This letter has detailed information about our school and the first day of school. Please ensure that you read this letter thoroughly.
D) If you have a child that you have not yet enrolled, please do not wait to enroll on the first day of school. I encourage you to do this no later than Friday, August 9th.
E) On the first day of school we will have poster boards with classroom assignments by grade level. Please look for your child's name to determine the classroom assignment. All parents will be allowed to come in to our campus on the first day of school.
F) Please be aware that we do not accept parent requests for a specific classroom or teacher.
