Good Afternoon Herrick Families,
The following are updates & reminders for the week of 8.26.24:
1) On Monday we have a Bullying Prevention Workshop for Parents at 8:30 a.m. It will be in the
Parent Center and will also be on zoom: https://lausd.zoom.us/j/6013243139?omn=84137211908
2) On Tuesday we will have early dismissal and school will be out at 1:09 p.m.
3) On Wednesday we have Back to School and all families are invited. This is an opportunity for all families
to get to know your child's teacher and their classroom expectations.
4) Friday is Admissions Day and school will be closed.
5) Monday, September 2nd is Labor Day and school will be closed.
School will resume Tuesday, September 3rd.
6) A reminder that we are a uniform school and students are expected to wear their uniform daily.
7) It's important that students be at school every day. We will be closely monitoring attendance this school
year. For those students who have a high absence percentage, we will be reaching out to offer
support.
