Hello Herrick Families,
The following are this week's updates and reminders:
1) PTA will be selling Halloween Grams and Fall Festival Tickets all week after-school. Our PTA parents will be at all three dismissal gates.
2) Monday, Wednesday and Thursday there will be High Dose Tutoring after school for selected students.
3) On Tuesday we have a parent presentation by Carmen Camacho. The presentation focuses on "Being a Proactive Parent part 2."
4) Tuesday it is early dismissal and school will be out at 1:09 p.m.
5) On Wednesday we are celebrating our 50th day of school and we will be providing popsicles as a treat to all students who are present at school during lunchtime. This treat is being provided as an incentive for attendance.
6) Also on Wednesday, we have the Big Smiles School Dental Program on our campus. Students have already been selected for this program.
6) On Friday we are having Free Dress Day and students do not have to wear a uniform. It is also Spirit Day and students are welcome to wear Dodgers Gear!
7) Also on Friday, we are having a School Fundraiser and will be having a movie screening of "Coco." This is only for 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders. Students in 4th and 5th will have a screening in November or December.
