Hello Herrick Families,
The following are this week's updates and reminders:
1) On Monday we will have a parent workshop on the topic of tutoring by PAPER. The workshop will be presented by Aries Sanders, Ed. D Customer Engagement Specialist at PAPER. The workshop will take place in the Parent Center and will begin at 8:15 a.m.
2) On Tuesday we have another parent workshop at 8:15 a.m. by Zoom only. It will be on the topic of "Understanding Developmental Disorders." The following is the zoom link:

3) On Tuesday we have early dismissal and school will be out at 1:09 p.m.
4) On Wednesday we will have a Volunteer Orientation at 8:15 a.m. in the parent center and via zoom

5) Also on Wednesday, we will have Coffee with the Principal at 8:45 a.m. in the Parent Center. This is an opportunity for you to learn more about our LA Unified 2025: We Are One Campaign and how we will continue to provide a welcoming and safe learning environment for our school community.
6) On Wednesday we will also have Wellness Wednesday Pilates in the parent center at 1:15 p.m.
7) On Thursday, we will have a workshop by DHM on the topic of Immigration, Adaptation and Resilience. It will be in the Parent Center and will begin at 8:15 a.m. It will also be available via zoom:

8) And Friday it is Spirit Day-(Pajama Day). Students are welcome to wear pajamas to school. Students also have a choice to have a free dress day and do not need to wear a school uniform.
