The following are this week's updates & reminders:
1) This week is Red Ribbon Week and students will be learning about making healthy choices and pledging to live drug free. Students are welcome to participate in the daily activities. See attachment.
2) On Tuesday we have the LA Dept. Mental Health Parent Workshop “Understanding Anxiety and Building Resiliency” via zoom (English Presentation).

3) Tuesday is early dismissal and school will be out at 1:09 p.m.
4) Wednesday we are having an information meeting on the Biliteracy Awards for students. It will be in the Parent Center from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
5) Friday is Free Dress Day.
6) On Friday we are having an LA Dept Mental Health Parent Workshop “Comprendiendo el Trastorno de Ansiedad” (Spanish Presentation) in the parent center. It begins at 8:30 a.m. and it is in person.
7) Also on Friday, we are having our Halloween Parade at 1:15 p.m. Parents are invited to attend. It will take place in our Big Yard. Students participating in the parade must come dressed up to school. Students will not be able to change during the day.
8) PTA will be selling pizza an drinks after school.
