The following are this week's updates and reminders:
1) The School Experience Survey is still open to parents and guardians. Please take the time to let us know how we're doing! You can take the survey at the link below. Once you take the survey, turn in the form that will be sent home with your student and they will receive a pink ticket worth 10 regular tickets to spend at the tiger store! https://ses.lausd.org/apps/pages/TakeTheSES
2) Our book fair is this week! Students will be able to make purchases using the e-wallet or can bring small amounts of cash to buy books during their recess times. The book fair will be open to parents and guardians after school Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 2:09-3:00 p.m. Tuesday, the book fair will open from 1:09- 2:00 p.m. E-Wallet and other online purchase can be made at https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/herrickavenueelemschool
3) Monday, ESL class will be in room 3 from 8:30 to 12:20 p.m.
4) Tuesday is early dismissal and school will be out at 1:09 p.m.
5) Wednesday, ESL class will be in 3 from 8:30-12:20 p.m.
6) Reminder, please stop by the lost and found after you visit the book fair this week to check for any lost items.
7) Parents, please continue to send your child to school and also on time. We are consistently recognizing students for good attendance every week.
