The following are this week's updates and reminders:
1) It is parent/teacher conference week. Please be sure to attend your scheduled conference meeting with the teacher.
2) This week is Read Across America and we will be having Spirit Week. A flyer was sent home with students that describes how to celebrate each day of the week.
3) The School Experience Survey is open to parents and guardians until March 27th. Please take the time to let us know how we're doing! You can take the survey at the link below. Once you take the survey, turn in the form that was sent home with your student and they will receive a pink ticket worth 10 regular tickets to spend at the tiger store! 4) Tuesday is early dismissal and school will be out at 1:09 p.m.
5) Also Tuesday, we will have a "Walk to Wellness" parent workshop presented by our Healthy Start Navigator, Dr. Shin in the parent center at 8:15 a.m. Register in person the morning of the class.
6) Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are minimum days and students will be dismissed at 12:39 p.m.
7) Friday, we have a parent workshop in Spanish from LADMH titled "Violencia Familiar." It will be at 8:30 a.m in the parent center.
8) Also on Friday, we have our Student/Citizen of the month awards assemblies. Invites will be sent home. The times for the assemblies are as follows:
10:00- 2nd, 3rd
10:20- 4th, 5th
10:40-Pals, PSC, UTk, K, 1st
