The following are this week's updates and reminders:
1) Thank you to our PTA for providing treats to all of our students in celebration of Children's Day.
2) State Testing continues this week for students in 3rd-5th grade. Please make sure your students get enough rest and eat well. We also ask that you encourage them to do their best.
3) On Monday, our Popcorn fundraiser begins! Students will receive information to take home.
4) Tuesday is early dismissal and school will be out at 1:09 p.m.
5) Tuesday is also Staff Appreciation day! Thank you to our amazing staff for their dedication and commitment to our Herrick students!
6) On Thursday, PTA will be hosting board member elections once more for 2026-2027. If you are able, please attend. Without proper elections, we could lose our PTA next school year. 7) Friday, we have a parent workshop by LADMH in Spanish titled "Comprendiendo los Trastornos y Comportamientos de Menores" at 8:30 am in the parent center.
8) Herrick uniforms and other spirit wear can be ordered at the link below. There is a two week turnaround time for orders. Please keep in mind that there are no returns or exchanges when ordering online.
