The following are this week's updates and reminders:
1) Monday is the last day to turn in order forms for the popcorn fundraiser.
2)State Testing continues this week for students in 3rd-5th grade. Please make sure your students get enough rest and eat well. We also ask that you encourage them to do their best.
3) On Tuesday, we will have our Open House from 5-6:00 PM. This is a great opportunity to come and see what your child has learned this school year. We will be selling pizza and drinks. PTA has also invited the Kona Ice truck to come out from 4:30- 6:30 pm. Enjoy dinner and a treat while supporting our school!
4) Also on Tuesday, we have a "Walk and Talk" parent workshop at 8:30 am. Participants will meet in the parent center. Join us for some fresh air and community!
5) Tuesday is also early dismissal and school will be out at 1:09 p.m.
6) And on Tuesday, PTA will be sending out pre-order forms for a Krispy Kreme Donut fundraiser. Forms are due May 27th and the donuts will be distributed on May 29th.
7) Please continue to remind your students to check the lost and found bin for any missing items.
8) If your interested in having your child attend summer school please visit https://summeroflearning.lausd.org/ for information. To register your child go to https://enroll.lausd.net/ Scroll down to "Enrichment and Summer Programs." Click the blue "enroll now" button. Log in with your parent portal account email and password. You will then be able to fill out and submit the "Summer of Learning" Application.
9) We will also be having Countdown to Summer Spirit Days starting this week. It will continue every day until the last day of school. Please refer to the flyer that was sent home with your students on Friday to join the dress up fun! The flyer will also be posted on our website, ClassDojo and be sent via email.
