The following are this week's updates and reminders:
1) There is no school on Monday in honor of Memorial Day. Classes resume on Tuesday.
2) On Tuesday, we have a "Walk and Talk" parent workshop at 8:30 am. Participants will meet in the parent center. Join us for some fresh air and community!
3) Tuesday is also early dismissal and school will be out at 1:09 p.m.
4) And on Tuesday the volunteer applications open up for the 2026-2027 school year. If you would like to apply early to be approved for next school year visit https://volunteerapp.lausd.net/Default?ReturnUrl=%2f.Use your parent portal account log in to access the application. Contact our community representative, Sarah Chavez at [email protected] or visit her in the parent center if you need support.
5) On Wednesday we have a Community Building Circle - Summer Goals and Routines parent workshop at 1:00 pm with Carmen Camacho. It will be in room 3 next to the parent center.
6) Wednesday is also the last day to turn in order forms for PTA's Krispy Kreme Fundraiser at the front of the
7) Donuts from the Krispy Kreme fundraiser will be distributed on Friday after school near the front gate.
8) Please continue to remind your students to check the lost and found bin for any missing items.
9) If your interested in having your child attend summer school please visit https://summeroflearning.lausd.org/ for information. To register your child go to https://enroll.lausd.net/ Scroll down to "Enrichment and Summer Programs." Click the blue "enroll now" button. Log in with your parent portal account email and password. You will then be able to fill out and submit the "Summer of Learning" Application.
10) Our Countdown to Summer Spirit Days continue this week. It will continue every day until the last day of school. Please refer to the flyer that was sent home with your students to join the dress up fun! The flyer is also posted on our website, ClassDojo and was sent via email.
