Hello Herrick Families,
The following are this week's updates and reminders:
1) Monday is an unassigned day and there is no school. School resumes Tuesday.
2) Tuesday is early dismissal and school will be out at 1:09 p.m.
3) Wednesday, there will be a volunteer orientation at 8:30 am in person in the parent center or you can join via zoom https://lausd.zoom.us/j/81622898279 .This is a requirement before beginning volunteer service. Parents who attend will receive a blue tiger ticket for their child.

SAVE THE DATE!!!Please join us for our first School Site Council Meeting #1. We look forward to seeing you there. Your input in this very important meeting needed. In addition, you will earn a blue ticket for your child/children to spend at the Tiger Store, which takes place twice monthly.

5) On Friday, we will be having our second Tiger store for this month. Students who are present will have the opportunity to visit the tiger store with their teacher to purchase prizes with the tickets they have earned the last few weeks!
6) Be sure to sign up for the parent portal! See grades, attendance, test scores, apply to the Choices program, volunteer and more! https://lausdapp.lausd.net/auth/landing Contact our community representative at [email protected] or 818-367-1864 for your students ID and pin numbers to create an account!
7) Items are beginning to appear in our lost and found bin. Please remind students to check the bin for any missing items. Parents are welcome to stop by the office to come check the lost and found bin as well.
8) Please remember that students are expected to wear uniforms Monday-Thursday. Every Friday is free dress day!
