Hello Herrick Families,
This coming Tuesday, April 30th, we are going to begin HW help for students. Here is some important information that is important you understand about Tuesday HW Help.
1) Tuesday HW Help hours will be from 1:20 to 2:30 p.m. It will ONLY be offered on Tuesday.
2) Students will receive help with any HW questions that they are struggling to understand each week.
Support will be provided by Teacher Assistants.
3) HW Help is NOT tutoring.
4) HW help is for students in K-3rd grade.
5) Though HW is not for 4th and 5th grade students, they are welcome to show up if they need assistance on
how to use PAPER.COM online, which is virtual HW support. Students must know their Schoology log-in
information so that they can be assisted with how to use PAPER.
6) Students who need HW Help must be signed in by parents at our School Office. Parents also have the
option of emailing a request to Sarah Chavez, our Community Rep, if you would like your child to attend.

7) Once the student receives the help they need they are expected to be picked up, unless they are in an
after school program.
